Red and Blue

The artist released 100 color-gradient blocks from red to blue through Ethereum and conducted a year-long auction. Collectors can get their favorite color blocks in auction. The artist did not provided a meaning for each blocks in advance, but instead chose to wait a year and observe the value distribution of these color blocks.

On October 18^th, 2020, at 10:00 p.m., Red and Blue was about to end its year-long bidding, when collector GeoffreyX in the final minutes purchased both the red and blue encrypted blocks of color representing Chinese and American ideologies with his statement that “I hope that technological advances and artistic transmutations can once again help human society reunite.”

在2020年10月18日，晚上10点，红与蓝结束了长达一年的竞拍，藏家GeoffreyX在最后几分钟时，同时收藏了代表中美两国意识形态的红色和蓝色加密色块，并表示：“我希望技术的进步和艺术的嬗变，可以再一次帮助人类社会重新凝聚。”
